April 2026 Product Update: Light Mode, More Control, Better Output

This month we shipped a new light mode, more flexible hotkey controls, and meaningful improvements to speed, output quality, and overall stability.

Built for faster execution, now with more control

This month, we focused on one thing: helping you stay in flow with less friction.

We shipped a visual update, improved hotkey flexibility, and made core quality and performance improvements across the app.

New: Light mode

You can now switch to a new light mode in the latest version of Glaido.

If your workflow lives in brighter environments (or your retina politely asked for a break), you now have a cleaner, high-contrast option that still feels unmistakably Glaido.

New: Choose which hotkeys you actually want

We added a new setting that lets you unset specific hotkeys.

You can now keep only the shortcuts you actively use and disable the rest, giving you more control over your setup and fewer accidental conflicts with other tools.

Faster performance, better output quality

We also rolled out additional improvements to speed and output quality.

You should notice more responsive interactions and stronger overall consistency in generated text, especially in day-to-day, high-volume usage.

And yes, we did make it faster again. At this pace, the only remaining bottleneck might be how quickly coffee cools down.

Stability improvements across the app

Alongside feature work, we fixed a handful of bugs to improve reliability and polish throughout the experience.

As always, we prioritize updates that help operators move at the speed of thought without sacrificing control.

Keep the feedback coming

Every release gets better because of your feedback.

If you've got requests, friction points, or ideas for what should ship next, send them our way. We read all of it.
